Why we LOVE Mystery of History!

With school starting up, I wanted to share one of our favorite programs… the Mystery of History!!! We absolutely LOVE this program!

My kids enjoy listening to the stories (Tip: I buy the audio CDs to give Mom a break from teaching and the kids a break from hearing Mom talk!) and remember a lot from them! At the end of each lesson, I have them tell me something new that they learned that day, and it often leads to some interesting, more in-depth discussions.

I love the chronological layout and that we can all learn together! And yes, I said WE. As we go through it, I love piecing together what I already know about Bible and world history into a timeline of what happened when!

For example, I was amazed to learn how affluent Sumer was and then they explained that Sumer is where Abraham came from! It totally changed how I looked at Abraham and gave me a whole new appreciation for his faith in God!  You can find out more for yourself in the first volume!

There are also activities for all age ranges so that your littlest ones all the way up to your high schoolers can learn the same event together, but with more in depth learning as they get older.
